A Brief History Of Our Firm

Spears / Votta & Associates, Inc. (SVA) is a consulting engineering firm that specializes in the evaluation and design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (M/E/P) systems for commercial, institutional, industrial, multi-family residential and retirement community building projects. SVA performs detailed site surveys, feasibility studies, evaluations of existing M/E/P systems, as well as, long range master plans. SVA has earned a solid reputation for their production of energy efficient, LEED certified, high quality practical designs; detailed CADD drawings; accurate construction documents; and experienced construction administration services, which are incorporated into the design and construction of every project.

Established in 1983 and based in Baltimore, Maryland, Spears/Votta & Associates, Inc. is now proudly celebrating their 25th year of service to the construction industry. Many members of the SVA staff have worked together since the inception of the firm, thus establishing a knowledgeable, highly efficient team that is uniquely capable of meeting the varied needs of their diverse clients.

The firm's experience includes traditional "plan and spec" type projects, performance specifications, design/build services, and fast track development.
