Bala provided services for electrical and communications infrastructure
associated with this new dedicated road-way connecting Massport Conley
Terminal to Summer Street, South Boston. This project created a dedicated freight corridor that removes container trucks serving Conley Terminal from residential streets, and improves the operational efficiency of Conley Terminal.
Bala was the consultant responsible for MEP/ FP disciplines associated with roadway lighting ground water pumping station; 15 kV duct banks and feeder distribution; communication duct banks and fiber infrastructure; security access control and camera mounting systems; buffer space lighting, power, and security; Boston street lighting modifications; and new security guard station.
