Team members of Spears/Votta & Associates, Inc. have long been recognized as progressive engineering and design consultants. Through their work on many prominent east coast landmarks, SVA has earned the respect and recognition of their peers in the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting design, engineering and consulting fields.
One such project is the Emerson Bromo-Seltzer Clock Tower in Baltimore, Maryland. The exterior lighting for this historic landmark had deteriorated to a point where it was unusable. The design objective was to light the upper portion of the exterior of the structure from all sides, to illuminate each of the four clock faces, and to recreate the look and feel of the original blue Bromo-Seltzer bottle that once adorned the structure.
